A little bit about myself:
My name is Lyssandra Gallup and I am an artist based in Austin, TX. I was born and raised in Austin and I graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Kansas City Art Institute. I have been working with ceramics for most of my life whether it be sculptural or functional ware. I fell in love with art as a teenager but in the past 6 years I feel like I have really come into my own with my art practice. I love textures and glazes and the way they interact with each other. I believe my portfolio shows how I am constantly exploring this dynamic within functional ware.
